Ce disque est pour Flor enversa un hommage à ce grand troubadour et à son oeuvre poétique, d'une grande beauté et finesse, portée par les valeurs de cortezia de son temps, qui nous inspirent encore aujourd'hui. This
recording brings together the seven songs, each with music, of
troubadour Raimbaut
de Vaqueiras, as well as the
lyrics
in prose form from the manuscripts: vida,
razons, lettre épique… The songs are performed in their
entirety,
accompanied by the complete lyrics provided in the booklet, along with
their
French and English translations. Thus, for Flor Enversa, the
CD serves as
homage to this great troubadour, both the man and his poetic works. The
group
seeks to convey the great beauty and refinement of his poetry as
expressed not
just through music, but through the courtly values of the time, which
touch us
